2020: What are your North Star Words? ✨

Happy 2020 Darling!!

As we welcome in the New Year, it's important to take the time and reflect on the past. I've been sharing about my practices of reviewing my calendar and journals, and declaring my words; and on the other side of this practice, I am feeling full, at peace with the past and excited and ready for the future!!

Not being in NYC the last few New Year's has been a challenge for this dancing extrovert, though this year I've had such a glorious, productive, peaceful and connected Holiday time at home with my love, @alifelessmediated. (Where we listened to records and danced in our living room!)

🧘‍♀️This season, I've been feeling fully present and in deep gratitude for this moment, at the same time in recognition that there are always more dancefloors to be had, and every year I have the power to choose which experience I desire and need at any given time.

Here, I share with you my 2020 North Star words:

In case you missed it, your North Star Words are the guiding pillars for you in this coming year. They are ways of being that you aspire to and keep you aligned with your highest self. Here's mine: 

👑Sovereignty - to remind me that I am the ultimate power over my life

🥦Nourishment - for all of me: Mind, Body and Soul

💫Integration - time to merge all of my gifts, talents, skills and joys into my service to the world. Let's Boogie!

🤿Intimacy - here's to going deeper - in my emotions, my marriage & other relationships, my business numbers, my client's needs & my audience's desires

🏄‍♀️And finally, Bexperiment:
While "Bexcellence" has long been one of my yearly words, this year it's time to switch it up. The concept of living my life as a "Bexperiment" means that there is no right or wrong, good or bad. Everything is a Bexperiment where the outcomes are information and feedback to process, to reflect upon, and to from which to tweak and pivot from. Kind of like art, dance, dj'ing and cooking. All of which I intend on doing in 2020.
