If you give up who you are in love read this.

It’s been a while since I made an introduction, or given you a peek into the work that I do with my clients.

So I’ll spend the next few weeks spilling the beans on who I am, what I do, and why you want me in your inbox!

First of all, you know that I’m a love and relationship coach, but what does that really mean?

How did I get here? What do I do?

I’m so glad you asked!

I’m Bex Burton and I help fiercely independent women attract and grow lasting, loving relationships without sacrificing who they are, or what they want out of life.

Got your attention?

Well, have you ever wondered, “why am I so fiercely independent”?

In my case, my fierce independence was born out of fear and frustration with relationships.

I carried a ‘Daddy Wound’ that drove me to chase love to fuel my ego for a very long time. I thought that being in a relationship would ‘complete’ me, or make me happy in a way I couldn’t be otherwise.

Yet every relationship born from this space wound up being a codependent mess of self-betrayal and misalignment.

So I said F*CK IT. Who wants that? I backed away from relationships all together out of self-protection. Relationships felt like a funeral march to my fragile identity.

But as long as my worthiness was tied to the attention of men, I couldn’t be satisfied.

The Buddhists call this “the hungry ghost” - the void we all feel that we try to fill from means beyond ourselves.

Though I refuted relationships, I continued to feed my hungry ghost with sexual conquests.

Still I couldn’t be satisfied.

It wasn’t until I fortified myself from within that things began to change.

The change process included learning where I gave my power away, denied my intuition, and sacrificed my values for this false sense of love.

And, most importantly, not making myself wrong or at fault for doing so. Simply witnessing, learning, and unlearning.

I embarked on a new, loving & tender relationship with MYSELF.

And it was from this place that I attracted my husband.

So yes, part of being a love and relationship coach is helping you navigate the choppy waters of your dating life. But it’s SO MUCH MORE than that, love!

It’s examining your entire LOVE paradigm you’ve carried with you since childhood, and chipping away the layers that don’t serve you as a grown, adult woman today.

It’s identifying all the ways you sacrifice yourself in order to feed your hungry ghost, and start feasting off the abundance that already exists inside you.

Last but not least, it’s creating a deep, lasting, loving relationship with yourself; where you fall in love with ALL parts of you, not just the parts you share on social media.

This is the foundation for deep, lasting love with another.

If this is what you want and you resonate with my story, hit REPLY and let me know where you’re stuck. It’s my privilege to serve your heart!
